Kollukkumalai, is the best tourist place near Munnar. Kollukkumalai is approx- 8000 ft high hills bordering the Idukki district in Kerala. Kollukkumalai is in Theni district of Tamil Naidu. However Kollukkumalai is around 32 km Munnar. Kollukkumalai is the best tourist place, a Nature’s Paradise Nature has blessed Kolukkumalai abundantly making Kollukkumalai, one of the best tourist places in India.
Munnar, the famed hill station of south India, is a romantic locale where natural beauty is everywhere to visit, explore and to enjoy. Munnar is situated at the confluence of three mountain streams – Muthirapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundala – and the word ‘Munnar’ means three rivers in Malayalam. Situated about 1600m above sea level, the hill station had been the summer resort of the British Government during the colonial era. Imprints of the colonial past stand tall in the Munnar town in the form of English country cottages. Virgin forests, savannah, rolling hills, scenic valleys, numerous streams, huge splashy waterfalls, sprawling tea plantations and winding walkways are all part of the great holiday experience on offer for a traveler to Munnar. Munnar is also known for Neelakurinji, a rare plant which flowers only once in twelve years. The ‘kurinji season’ in Munnar is a magnificent sight when the hills and valleys get bathed in the blue of the Neelakurinji blooms.
Following are the pick-up points & timings from Bangalore.
3:30am Wake up call. Black tea or coffee.
4:30 am off-road Jeep ride to witness one of the best sunrises in the country.(This is not included in the package and will be at your own expense.)
6:15 am Sunrise at Kolukkumalai.
7:30 am Visit to Jaguar rock.
9:00 am back to camp side.
9:15 am Breakfast ( Dosa, idily, Vada, Chatni, Sambar)
10:00 am Visit to Tea Plantation.
10:30 am Kayaking and zipline (These activities are not included in the package and will be at your own expense. May cost approx Rs300 for each activity)
11:00 am Check out from the camp.
01:00 pm Self sponsored lunch.
2:00 pm Safari at Eravikulam national park. (Endangered Nilgiri Thar can be spotted )
4:00 pm Shopping time.
5:00 pm Depart back to Bangalore. Self sponsored dinner on the way back to Bangalore

=>No seat reservation for any, first come first serve in all places or you guys can discuss and swap. once you reach the bus Please do not argue with trip coordinators.
=>If any couples are sitting separately please adjust the seat and give them a seat.
=>Timings for meals will be specific which will be informed to you by the guide.
=>There is No Dinner Stop on Friday night please have it and come or take a parcel (you are welcome to eat on the bus)
=>We provide a stay as sharing basis, Girls and boys separate,(Beds or mats)
=>Do not expect luxury as we will be traversing through pristine and untamed nature.
=>A basic level of fitness is compulsory to undertake this trek.
=>Do pay heed to the guidelines given by the instructor.
=>Common phone charging sockets will be there it is your responsibility to sit there and charge, if you miss anything we are not responsible
=>Make sure you bring one Xerox copy of your ID proof without fail.
=>No smoking and consumption of alcohol before or during the activity.
=>Carrying jewelers or other valuables is not advisable.
=>Common washroom facility will be there, do not expect attach washrooms and rest rooms.
=>Do not expect separate accommodation as it is a group trip.

=>Event Schedule, route and Forest permits ,Plans are subject to change in case of any inconvenience that occurred at the time of tour without any prior intimation. Travelers have to adjust to any such consequence.
