Pushpagiri or Kumara Parvatha, at 1,712 meters or 5,617 feet, is the highest peak in Pushpagiri Wildlife Sanctuary in the Western Ghats of Karnataka. It is located in the Somwarpet Taluk, 20 kilometers from Somwarpet in the northern part of Kodagu district on the border between Dakshina Kannada and Kodagu district and Hassan districts. It is the fifth-highest peak in Karnataka.
The Pushpagiri or Subramanya Hills also referred to as Kumaraparvatha, are the second-highest peak of Kodagu and the fifth highest peak in Karnataka. About 36 kilometers from Somwarpet and 1.5 kilometers from Kumaralli, it is located amid the jungle. Can do trekking from the base, Bhagati, which is a 10 km, three-hour walk. Otherwise, trekkers can cross Kukke Subramanya, located in the Dakshina Kannada district of Pushpagiri Range. Can approach the trekking zone from Pushpagiri or Kumaraparvata peaks. Can reach the Eastern entrance from Beedehalli via Heggademane temple and the Western entrance from Kukke Subramanya via Giri Gadde. However, the entrance through Beedehalli is less strenuous.

5:00am Reach homestay at Kukke Subramaniya.
7:30 am Freshup and Breakfast (Self sponsered)
8:30am Forest check up
10:00 am Start hiking towards Battaramane (7kms Hike)
12:30 Pm packed lunch at Bheemana kallu.
3:30 reach Battaramane
5:30pm Visit to the Sunset point.
7:30Pm Dinner at Battaramane and rest for the day.
(Total 21kms Hike)
5:00 am Start trekking to Kumaraparvatha Or Pushpagiri peak.
8:30 am packed Breakfast at Sheshaparvatha.
1:30pm Back to Battaramane and Lunch at Battaramane.
2:30pm Start decending down towards Kukke Subramanya.
6:30pm Reach the base and freshen up at the homestay.
If time permits visit Kukke Subramanya temple.
9:30pm Depart to Bangalore
Reach Bangalore by 5:30am.
Note -
1.This is hardcore trek ,expect no luxury and at time necessity turns out to be luxury.
2. Carry minimum luggage in a good trekking backpack.
